Sin Has Consequences But Not Condemnation for Believers

Romans 1:18-23 (April 26, 2020)

I saw a post on Facebook this week where a lady had prayed thankfulness to God because we who believe will never be condemned for our sins. We need to pray more like that!

The truth of God’s existence is everywhere in the universe. No person has an excuse to be an atheist. The attributes of God are all around us.

People have worshiped false images since antiquity. The worship of images even slipped into churches in the form of iconoclastic statues.

We must be careful when professing our “wisdom”.

We must be careful that we do not endorse unrighteous behavior (v. 32).

Thanks be to God that we are free from the condemnation of sin, though we must suffer its consequences in this physical life.
